a palm-sized cup

and a sky full of stars;

both flow over.

This painting explores the multiplicity of self;  the dream-like transformation between the ‘real’ and the virtual, the fluid overlap of past and future. The skin is rendered as a semi-permeable membrane, a reactive barrier between inner and outer worlds.

The FUEL. series explores the idea of the self as both resource and propulsion. Through paired compositions, it reflects on how different facets of identity  (virtual, physical, and spiritual) can be harnessed as sources of energy for transformation and forward motion.
