TIGRIS.
£55.00
striped skin behind bars;
purring, clawing, biting at the world.
This painting explores the relationship between beauty, danger, and the multiplicity of self. In the context of femininity, 'beauty' often oscillates between rigid captivity and reckless freedom. As the cage opens and the tiger-girls are (re)released, the work questions how past captivity might shape their return to the wild.
